Sangeet night shines in Udaipur; Rashmika Mandanna dances to Angaaron for Vijay Deverakonda - Reports

Wedding celebrations for Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda reached a high point during their sangeet ceremony at ITC Mementos. The couple chose to keep the four-day festivities private.

Only their closest circle attended and the evening moved through a series of performances. One stood out above all. Rashmika offered a special dance dedicated to Vijay as she reportedly performed to Angaaron which was a track that became a national sensation last year.

Angaaron returns to the spotlight

The song’s return during the sangeet added a nostalgic layer to the evening. Reports from News18 claim that she danced to the track Angaaron for Vijay on February 24.

For the unversed, Angaaron track is from the superhit Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer 'Pushpa 2' which became a trend last year.

A gesture of family tradition

Alongside the performances the night carried sentimental moments as reports state that Vijay’s mother presented Rashmika with traditional heirloom bangles during the sangeet. The couple later entered the venue hand-in-hand. Large banners and posters bearing their photographs were seen in some videos that are circulating on social media.

Private celebrations, grand plans

Udaipur served as the serene backdrop for the ongoing events. The wedding will take place in the city on February 26. The celebrations remain strictly private. Yet their post-wedding plans will be more expansive. A grand reception is set to follow in Hyderabad on March 4, 2026. Friends and colleagues from the film industry are expected to join the festivities there.

Dual ceremonies to honour traditions

Many Reports suggest that Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda will honour both Telugu and Kodava customs. They are expected to hold two separate wedding ceremonies. With the sangeet complete, anticipation now moves toward the wedding day which is set for this day (February 26).
