, continues to build anticipation. As per recent reports, the team is preparing for an extensive shoot schedule expected to begin towards the end of May.

Known for his larger-than-life filmmaking style, Bhansali is reportedly planning a visually rich sequence that will span over two to three weeks.According to Bollywood Hungama, reports suggest that the upcoming schedule will primarily focus on filming a song. “Love & War is about to start a song shoot schedule in early May. As the grandeur of SLB is always magnificent, it will be a 15 to 20-day schedule,” a source shared.

Given Bhansali’s reputation, the sequence is expected to be elaborate, blending scale with intricate detailing.

‘Love & War’ release plans shift to 2027

Initially, ‘Love & War’ was expected to arrive in cinemas in Summer 2026. However, production delays pushed the timeline forward. Ranbir Kapoor had earlier hinted at the change, mentioning that the film would release after ‘Ramayana Part One’, which is scheduled for October. The makers have now locked January 21, 2027, aligning the release with the Republic Day weekend.
