Sara Saffari wasted no time clearing the air about Puka Nacua. After days of whispers tying the fitness influencer to the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver, she jumped into the comment section and ended the chatter herself.

When an Instagram post from MLFootball claimed the two were “reportedly dating,” Saffari fired back with a short, pointed reply: “we’re siblings chill.” Just like that, the rumor mill met a wall.The speculation did not come from nowhere. Over the past few weeks, Saffari, 25, and Nacua, 24, appeared together in a handful of videos that had fans reading between the lines. A little playful chemistry. A few teasing comments from friends.

The spark came from a Feb. 23 YouTube video on Nick Nayersina’s channel. Filmed at Topgolf in the Los Angeles area, the clip showed Saffari and Nacua laughing and trading playful remarks. Nayersina leaned into it, calling them a “great duo” and later a “power duo.” At one point he insisted that “great duos stay together.” Saffari quickly pushed back, telling him to “stop saying that.”

In another moment, after Nayersina described them as the “cutest thing,” Saffari shot back that he was “delusional.” Nayersina kept stirring the pot, joking to Nacua, “She got mad because you guys have great chemistry. I wish I captured you guys up there golfing and poking each other with the club.” Nacua turned and asked, “You don’t want to have fun?” Without missing a beat, Saffari replied, “I love having fun! I’m like the queen of fun!”Then came the airport clip. On Feb. 28, a TikTok video showed the pair walking through LAX.

Nacua wore a black hoodie and sunglasses. Saffari had on a green tank top. At one point, they appeared to be holding hands. That image shifted the conversation from playful to serious in the eyes of fans.

Nacua has not addressed the latest round of rumors. His name, though, has often found its way into headlines beyond football. In January, he was spotted at dinner in West Hollywood with influencer Hannah Stocking. That outing followed his public flirtation with actress Sydney Sweeney, when he reposted her quote about wanting someone to “go skydiving” with and added, “Love skydiving.”

She did not respond.On the field, Nacua’s résumé speaks louder than gossip. The Nevada native closed his third season with the Rams in January, still riding the wave of a historic rookie year in 2023 when he set league marks for receiving yards in a season by a rookie and receptions in a game by a rookie. He also faced scrutiny in December after making an antisemitic gesture on a livestream, later saying it had been “suggested” to him and that he “had no idea this act was antisemitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people.
