CM launches SBI mobility card for Patna metro commuters
Patna: The State Bank of India (SBI) on Thursday launched its National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) service for commuters at the Malahi Pakri Metro station in Patna.The service was inaugurated by CM Samrat Choudhary in the presence of SBI chief general manager Anurag Joshi, who jointly unveiled the SBI NCMC card for metro passengers.The card has been introduced to offer commuters a secure, convenient and cashless travel experience on the Patna Metro. Besides metro travel, it can be used for a wide range of retail purchases and digital payment transactions, in line with the Centre’s “One Nation, One Card” initiative aimed at integrating mobility and payment systems across the country.With the launch, SBI has become one of the first banks to provide NCMC facilities for Patna Metro users.The introduction of the NCMC is expected to enhance commuter convenience through seamless ticketing and cashless payments, while encouraging wider adoption of digital payment solutions in everyday travel.
