SC collegium proposes new judges for Kerala and Karnataka High Courts; majority of them are women

The Supreme Court collegium headed by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on Tuesday recommended the appointments of new judges in Kerala and Karnataka High Courts, a majority of whom are women advocates and judicial officers.

In a resolution, the collegium proposed for appointment of Preeta Aravindan Krishnamma and Liz Mathew Anthraper as judges of the Kerala High Court. Ms. Mathew is a senior advocate practising in the Supreme Court.
