SCR recognises 10 frontline staff with safety awards

South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava presented the ‘Employee of the Month’ safety awards to 10 employees in recognition of their dedication and alertness in preventing unsafe conditions. The awards were presented to frontline staff, including track maintainers, pointsmen, technicians, train managers, station masters, and loco pilots. Among the awardees, five were from the Guntakal division, three from the Vijayawada division, and two each from the Secunderabad and Nanded divisions. Mr. Srivastava emphasised that safety norms must never be compromised. He also highlighted the need to sensitise staff on strengthening fire safety measures, conducting regular inspections of points and crossings, and ensuring the removal of construction materials from near tracks upon completion of works, a press release said on Monday.
