Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the disgraced rapper convicted of charges related to transportation to engage in prostitut***, has been making several attempts to be free from the walls of Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn.

As the judge has repeatedly denied the requests, and the music mogul was surrounded by speculations of getting a pardon from the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

Diddy’s attorney confirmed that if the aforementioned plan works out, the 55-year-old would be ‘Team Trump,’ even after the long-standing political spite. In an interview with TMZ’s 2 Angry Men podcast, Comb’s attorney Mark Geragos claimed that the rapper has empathised with the Republican, who himself has a couple of raised eyebrows from the people. “I don’t know that I would say he’s pledging loyalty, but I think he would probably say I now get what he went through,” Geragos said, before adding, “It would not surprise me to hear Sean say, ‘I now get it. I understand it, and I was wrong then.” The lawyer emphasised that they would not be bonding on the obvious reason, instead they would connect on the fraternity of being tortured by the prosecution.

While the defence team did not actively seek the White House’s attention on the matter, Diddy’s close ones were reportedly trying for recourse, according to Deadline.
