Seethakka denies corruption in Sammakka–Sarakka shrine works, cell phones for Anganwadi teachers

Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka) has denied allegations of corruption in the reconstruction works of the historic Medaram Sammakka-Sarakka shrine and challenged Opposition parties to produce evidence, if any. She stated that she had no objection even if a probe by any investigative agency was ordered.

Addressing Congress workers in Mulugu on Saturday, Minister Seethakka accused BRS leaders of being unable to accept the Congress’s return to power in the State. She alleged that they had spent hundreds of crores of rupees in an attempt to defeat her in the elections and were now resorting to what she described as baseless and malicious propaganda against her.
