He said a reconciliation was likely to happen within a month. Sengottaiyan was speaking to reporters at Coimbatore airport en route to Chennai to attend a relative’s wedding. When asked about the ten-day ultimatum he had previously given to AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami for reuniting party leaders which was nearing its end, he remained optimistic, stating, “Everything is for the good.”Asked about a possible meeting with Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Chennai, Sengottaiyan clarified that he had no such plans and was solely focused on attending the wedding. Regarding future visits to New Delhi, he said, “Time will tell everything.”
