Senior writer Kuppili Padma has been selected for the KNY Patanjali award for 2026, according to Patanjali Samskrutika Vedika president Bhisetti Babji.
Addressing the media, he said that the award would be presented to the writer on March 29 at a function at the Gurajada Apparao Central Library. The award constituted in the name of senior journalist Patanjali ten years ago is being given to writers who enlighten society with their writings, he added. Earlier, writers who received the award are Satish Chandar, Ganteda Gowrunaidu, Thadi Prakash, Chintakindi Srinivasa Rao, G.R. Maharshi and others. Association secretary N. K. Babu, members of the association V.M.K. Lakshmana Rao, B. Nagendra Prasad, P. Prabhakara Rao, Jalantri Ramachandra Raju, Thadepalli Nageswara Rao and others were present.
