Shalini Pandey loves Ranveer Singh as an actor

In a recent interview with India Today, Shalini opened up about her admiration for Ranveer Singh.

She said, “I think, off the top of my head, I love Ranveer as an actor. So, I do think he’s someone because I had seen Dhurandhar; it’s one of my recent favorite films, so I do think he’s someone who can be good at anything.

He’s such a versatile actor. So, I do think him. I like Ranveer. I also think Hrithik Roshan because I’ve grown up seeing him do these things. So, I think, on top of my head, these two are the ones."

Wishes to work with Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan

Shalini also expressed her desire to collaborate with Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan and also mentioned that both actors inspire her.

The actress has already worked with Ranveer in 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar,' which marked her Hindi film debut.

Action and comedy on her wishlist

Shalini also spoke about the kind of roles she wants to explore. She revealed her interest in action films and comedy. “I do enjoy action. I do enjoy the thrill of it. So, action is really something that I want to do. Then comedy is a space that I absolutely want to explore because, as an audience, I enjoy these things. So, I do think, you know, action and comedy.

And then, obviously, I do want to work with people who motivate me as an actor, who push me beyond my own comfort zone.

Because I do feel that if I become comfortable—not that I don’t try to not be too comfortable wherever I am—I feel, as an actor, I want to be pushed. I don’t want to be somewhere where I’m not growing at all. So, that’s a big portion of it."

'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' continues to perform strongly at the box office.

According to Sacnilk, the film has reached a worldwide total of Rs 919 crore, as per early estimates. The Indian gross stands at Rs 687.43 crore, while overseas collections have touched Rs 231.57 crore. The film’s all-India net collections are reported to be around Rs 575.67 crore.
