Shoaib Ibrahim and his family are currently going through a challenging phase, as both his father and wife, Dipika Kakar, are dealing with health issues. The actor shared a new video on his YouTube channel and gave a health update on his father and wife.Speaking about Dipika's health, the actor revealed that she is currently undergoing immunotherapy, "Deepika's immunotherapy has just started and is currently underway. Today, I came here from Kokilaben Hospital and have been with her for the past few hours. I plan to stay here until her immunotherapy session is completed."He further spoke about his father's health. He said, "Papa is doing much better now. There are still few things that will take time, such as his speech and the strength on the right side of his body.
He can move his hand, but he is not yet able to lift it properly. His rehabilitation sessions will begin soon, and we are hopeful about his recovery."He added, "The most important update is that after a long time, I was finally able to hear Papa's voice. Since he had undergone a tracheostomy, the doctors fitted a valve that helps him speak. A few days ago, after nearly 10 days, I heard him talk again. He is now speaking, understanding things better, smiling, laughing, and responding clearly whenever we ask him something."
Shoaib also informed that his father will soon be shifted from ICU to a regular ward, he said, "According to the doctors, Papa may be shifted from the ICU to a regular ward either tomorrow or by Monday. After that, he will continue to remain in the hospital for a few more days as part of his recovery process. His rehabilitation sessions, including physiotherapy, speech therapy and other treatments, will begin and continue during this period.
While he is expected to stay in the hospital for another 8–10 days, we are hopeful that he will soon be moved out of the ICU."The Sasural Simar Ka actor dismissed rumours of Dipika undergoing any surgery. He shared, "I received many messages asking whether Dipika will be undergoing surgery. However, that is not the case. The doctors have not made any decision regarding surgery yet, and we have not been told whether it will be needed or not. I don't know where these reports came from or who started them. As of now, there is no update about any surgery.
Right now, she is taking immunotherapy."
