Singareni plans to mine 6 MT coal from Naini Block in Odisha this year

Chairman and Managing Director of the Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) Buddaprakash Jyoti has instructed the officials to ensure full-capacity coal transportation from the Sathupalli Coal Handling Plant (CHP) targeting a daily dispatch of up to 50,000 tonnes.

In a meeting held here on Friday, he asked them to overcome the technical issues at JVR Coal Handling Plant (CHP), which currently handles over 10 million tonnes annually, and ensure seamless coal evacuation. He instructed that average daily transportation from the plant should be maintained between 45,000 to 50,000 tonnes.
