Sister, brother killed as car hits pick-up van in Pratapgarh

Prayagraj: A 27-year-old woman and her 24-year-old brother of Mankapur were killed and another suffered injuries after the car carrying them collided with a speeding pick-up van near Raniganj crossing on Pratapgarh-Jaunpur highway late Wednesday night, police said.Police said the deceased were identified as Priya alias Roli and her brother Monu. The injured-- Akash alias Monu (24—was driving the car.The incident took place when the duo was on their way to Badshahpur.Police have seized the errant pick-up van and sent the bodies for postmortem.
