'Snag on aircraft': Air India Express Kolkata-Hindon flight delayed due to technical issue; company says 'regret inconvenience'

NEW DELHI: An Air India Express flight from Kolkata to Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad was delayed on Sunday after a technical issue was detected.Air India Express, a subsidiary of Air India, released a short statement confirming the delay and apologised for the inconvenience faced by passengers.

"Our Kolkata - Hindon flight operated, with a delay, due to a snag on the originally assigned aircraft. Guests were offered complimentary rescheduling or cancellation with a full refund. We regret the inconvenience," an Air India Express spokesperson said.
