Coimbatore: People in all states have accepted C P Radhakrishnan, a Tamilian, as a vice-presidential candidate, but some selfish politicians in Tamil Nadu have refused to accept him, BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan said on Monday.Talking to reporters at Coimbatore International Airport, Tamilisai said Hindu religious sentiments had been hurt continuously in the state. She said, “Chief minister M K Stalin does not attend any Hindu events in Tamil Nadu. What kind of faith is that if he is going to attend the Ayyappa devotees’ gathering in Kerala based on the invitation by Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan?”She criticised the Tamil Nadu govt for failing to enact measures to prevent caste killings. She condemned the VCK deputy general secretary Vanniyarasu’s remarks against Lord Rama. When asked about TVK leader Vijay, Tamilisai said she would not talk about him now as there were more serious issues to address. “Today’s topics are Vanniyarasu’s inflammatory remarks against Lord Rama and CM Stalin’s plan to attend Ayyappa Conference in Kerala,” she said.
