Song Ha-Yoon's bully case: Accuser shares email evidence; wants to settle outside the court

The bullying case of Song Ha-Yoon has resurfaced after the accuser arrived in South Korea to cooperate with the investigators and show them the evidence in the form of emails reportedly linked to Song’s agency. As the complainant has arrived in the country, the case would likely gain momentum with the receipts in place.

Accuser wants to settle the case outside of the court

The accuser, under the pseudonym ‘A,’ has been releasing public statements regarding her case that became a controversy. On August 25, she released a fourth statement about her attempts to settle the case outside of the court. “I had no intention of making this into a dispute from the beginning. After the third statement, I suggested to her law firm that we cease all legal action and resolve the matter with dignity,” she said, according to

Accuser claims Song Ha-Yoon's agency faked the cover charge

While she hopes that her settlement proposal gets accepted before the case legally escalates, ‘A’ gave evidence regarding her financial statements and discussions with Song’s agency. The actress’ agency reportedly offered to cover the accuser's costs during her return to the country. However, A claimed that the agency exaggerated its share, and she herself arranged airfare, accommodation, and transportation. “Song Ha-Yoon’s side represented it as paying 100 percent of the total, but in reality, it is only a partial settlement within a limited scope. Even with simple calculations, I will have to bear at least six times more than Song Ha-Yoon’s limited support,” she said in a statement.

About the bully case

The case goes back to 2004, when Song Ha-Yoon allegedly bullied the accuser consistently at Banpo High School. As ‘A’ accused Song and many other classmates collaborated, the claims and reports took such a hit that the latter had to change schools.
