It appears that throwing green d*ldo is heading to be a concerning trend after someone threw another s*x toy on the court of a WNBA game. Another WNBA game was interrupted in bizarre fashion, again.
For the second time this week, a lime green s*x toy was hurled onto the court during a Golden State Valkyries matchup, leaving players and fans stunned. Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham didn’t hold back, taking to social media to voice her concern after Friday night’s incident in Chicago.

The latest disruption came during the Chicago Sky’s game against the Valkyries. Just as gameplay was heating up, the action was brought to a halt by a neon green sex toy flying across the court.
A referee could be seen gently kicking the item aside to keep the game moving. Following the second incident, Sophie Cunningham decided to break her silence on the matter. After her team’s victory over the Dallas Wings, the Fever standout posted on X,“Stop throwing dildos on the court… you’re going to hurt one of us.”
Cunningham has quickly become one of the most recognizable voices in the league for her honesty off the court.
With the Fever on a roll, winning four straight games, her focus is fixed on keeping the momentum alive, not dodging flying objects mid-play.
Cunningham’s warning was a plea to protect the athletes’ space. Fans may think it’s funny, but for the players on the floor, these moments are jarring and potentially dangerous.
Green d*ldo throwing incident happened twice in a week
This wasn’t the first time the Valkyries found themselves caught in such a moment. Earlier in the week, a similar item was thrown during a tight contest between the Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream.
Commentators called it “a lime-green item” as it slid across the court, and players did their best to stay composed. The broadcast later captured a security guard removing the object with a towel, laughing at the surreal moment.
Golden State’s Cecilia Zandalasini later said, “I mean, first of all, it was super dangerous. And then when we found out what it was, I guess we just started laughing. I’ve never seen anything like that.”
Her teammate Tiffany Hayes added, “Yeah, one of our players almost got hit with it, so that’s very dangerous. We persevered.”
