The Cosmology Education and Research Training Center (COSMOS), Mysuru, of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, in association with the University of Mysore, will be organising National Space Day - 2025 on August 23 at 11 a.m.
The event will take place at the Seminar Hall of Vijnana Bhavan on the University of Mysore campus here.
S. Seetha, former director, Space Science Programme Office, ISRO, and visiting scientist, Raman Research Institute (widely known for her contributions to AstroSat and Mangalyaan missions) will deliver a special lecture titled “From rockets to satellite missions - Growth of Space Science in India.”
The talk will be bilingual (English and Kannada) and open to students, teachers, and the general public. There is no registration for the programme.
