Special MEMU service for NEET candidates on June 21

To facilitate candidates appearing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), Southern Railway will operate a special unreserved one-way MEMU service between Palakkad Junction and Kasaragod on Sunday (June 21).

Train No. 06131 will depart from Palakkad Junction at 5.50 a.m. and reach Kasaragod at 11.30 a.m. on the same day. The eight-coach MEMU train will stop at Ottapalam (6.15 a.m.), Shoranur Junction (6.35 a.m.), Pattambi (6.54 a.m.), Kuttippuram (7.13 a.m.), Tirur (7.27 a.m.), Parpanangadi (7.41 a.m.), Kozhikode (8.10 a.m.), Quilandy (8.37 a.m.), Vadakara (8.54 a.m.), Thalassery (9.17 a.m.), Kannur (9.55 a.m.), Payangadi (10.17 a.m.), Payyannur (10.28 a.m.), Charvathur (10.44 a.m.), and Kanhangad (10.59 a.m.) before terminating at Kasaragod.

The special service has been introduced to provide additional travel convenience for NEET candidates, a press release said.
