Speeding Scorpio Runs Over Woman In Navi Mumbai; 19-Year-Old Driver Arrested

A speeding Scorpio, driven by a 19-year-old lost control, injuring a woman and damaging vehicles. The woman is under treatment.

In a tragic incident in Navi Mumbai’s residential area Belapur, a speeding Scorpio rammed into a woman and several vehicles standing nearby after the driver lost control. The woman got severely injured and was rushed to hospital. The accident occurred in the Arranger Corner area of Sector 8, Belapur.

The driver of the Scorpio, a 19-year-old man, reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The out-of-control Scorpio first hit a young woman walking on the sidewalk, dragging her a considerable distance.

Despite the collision, the vehicle did not stop and went on to hit a two-wheeler, an auto-rickshaw, and several cars parked nearby. The entire incident was caught on camera.

At least three to four vehicles were heavily damaged in the incident, causing panic in the area.

The injured woman was rushed to MGM Hospital in Belapur, where she is currently receiving treatment. Authorities have registered a case against the driver and his friend at the Belapur police station.

The police are conducting an investigation based on CCTV footage of the incident. The footage clearly shows the woman walking along the roadside when the speeding Scorpio hit her from behind and continued to strike several other vehicles.
