SPPL unveils Kodak 4K QD-Mini LED TV with powerful audio setup

New Delhi: Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd (SPPL) has officially introduced its latest Thomson and Kodak TVs in India. It comes with the latest Mini QD TV under the Kodak brand. SPPL is also bringing Mini LED technology to its lineup with the 65-inch 4K model that supports up to 1500nits of peak brightness and Dolby Vision.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity processor and Mali G52 GPU; the latest Kodak QD-Mini LED TV runs on the Google TV platform. Kodak QD-Mini LED 4K TV has been priced at Rs 54,999 for the 65-inch variant, and it will be sold exclusively on the e-commerce platform Amazon.

This 65-inch Kodak Mini QD TV comes with the 4K Ultra HD resolution. SPPL has also stated that it uses a Mini LED backlighting system combined with the Quantum Dot technology. TV also offers up to 1500nits of peak brightness and 100000:1 contrast ratio. It also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG formats. Kodak also promises the panel can display over 1.1 billion colours, and it also offers an ultra-wide colour gamut for improved colour accuracy.

TV also includes six built-in speakers with a total output of 108W. The setup also comes with two subwoofers and two sky subwoofers. It also supports Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus for the surround sound output. TV runs on the Google TV platform, which also offers access to more than 10,000 applications, including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Apple TV, Zee5, Sony LIV, and others.

It supports built-in Chromecast and Apple AirPlay for screen mirroring from Android and Apple devices. It also has a voice-enabled remote with the Google Assistant.

Kodak QD-Mini LED TV is powered by the MediaTek processor, which is paired with the Mali-G52 GPU alongside 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. In terms of gaming, it also supports 120Hz refresh rates, MEMC, Auto Low Latency Mode, and Variable Refresh Rate.

In terms of connectivity options, it includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and an optical audio output. TV also features a bezel-less design with a metal base.
