Srivaikundam MLA alleges death threats from DMK

Tuticorin: Srivaikundam TVK MLA G Saravanan on Monday alleged that he has been receiving death threats and facing pressure to join the DMK, claiming that rivals offered him money.Addressing reporters, Saravanan claimed that some DMK members had been directly threatening and harassing him because he had risen from the grassroots to become an MLA.He alleged that they had warned him to join the DMK or “face destruction.” “They come to my office and issue threats,” he said.Referring to recent remarks by Anitha Radhakrishnan accusing the TVK of engaging in horse-trading, Saravanan said, “You are merely making verbal falsehoods, whereas I can substantiate with evidence that you are the ones engaging in horse-trading.”
