SSC CGL application 2025 last date: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the registration window for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 today, July 4, at 11:00 PM.

With over 14,500 vacancies on offer across prestigious Group B and C roles in central government ministries and departments, eligible candidates are urged to submit their applications immediately. The application correction window will remain open from July 9 to 11, 2025. The Tier-1 CBT exam will be held from August 13 to August 30, 2025. The Tier-2 CBT exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in December 2025.

SSC CGL 2025: Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for SSC CGL 2025, candidates must be Indian citizens, or subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from select countries with the intent of permanent settlement in India.

Applicants must hold a valid bachelor’s degree from a recognised university; specific posts may require specialised qualifications such as degrees in Statistics, Economics, or Commerce. The age criteria vary by post, generally ranging from 18 to 32 years as of August 1, 2025, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen, in accordance with government norms.
