The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to release the admit cards for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 Examination 2025. The exam is scheduled to take place from September 12 to September 26, 2025.

Candidates can expect to download their admit cards starting from September 9, 2025, as SSC typically releases them 2–3 days before the exam date.

How to download SSC CGL Tier 1 admit card 2025

Candidates appearing for the examination will be able to download their SSC CGL hall tickets by following the steps below:

  1. Visit the official website, ssc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the “Admit Card” link on the homepage.
  3. Choose your respective SSC Regional Website.
  4. Enter your registration number and date of birth or password.
  5. Submit the details to view and download your admit card.
  6. Take a printout for examination purposes.

Your SSC CGL Tier 1 Admit Card will contain the following information:

  • Candidate’s Name and Roll Number
  • Photograph and Signature
  • Exam Date and Timing
  • Reporting Time

Exam day guidelines

On the day of the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination, candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card, as electronic copies or photocopies will not be accepted.

Along with the admit card, a valid photo ID, such as an Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License, is mandatory for verification purposes.Additionally, candidates should carry a blue or black ballpoint pen to mark the OMR sheet during the exam. Ensuring that all these items are ready and kept securely will help avoid any last-minute issues and ensure a smooth entry and participation in the examination.
