SSLC exams in Gulf: meet decided to seek ECI’s nod

A high-level meeting chaired by Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty on resuming SSLC examinations in the Gulf region decided on Friday to seek the Election Commission of India’s (ECI) permission to announce final decisions on the conduct of the tests.

The SSLC examinations had been postponed in the Gulf region in the wake of the U.S.-Israel-Iran war in the West Asia. The government aim is to complete the examinations and put to rest students’ apprehensions.
