In the intense 'Do or Die' round of Star Singer, Arjun and Vidhu mesmerized the judges and audience alike with their heartfelt performance of 'Sandese Aate Hain.' Vidhu, who bravely ventured beyond his usual repertoire with this Hindi classic, received high praise for his impressive vocal delivery.
Star Singer contestants are sure to impress with each of their performances, and every rendition in the 'Do or Die' round is making it tough for viewers to pick their favorite. In the recent episode, the much-loved duo, Arjun and Vidhu, have left everyone mesmerized with their rendition of the all-time favorite Hindi song.In the 'Do or Die' round, Arjun challenged Vidhu with the evergreen melody from Border, 'Sandese Aate Hain.' Vidhu, who was rarely seen singing Hindi songs in the competition, has taken the challenge in a sportive way, and he has just nailed it. The duo, known for their soulful renditions, just mesmerized with their performance this time too.Soon after the performance, judge KS Chithra praised the duo for keeping the soul of the song intact throughout their performance.
She also appreciated Vidhu for his efforts for the performance.Without any delay, the judge also pressed the buzzer and announced the performance to be a Golden Star. As per the rules of the new round, both contestants will get 5 points each.
Earlier, contestants Krishnasree and Shivapriya also got golden star in the Do or Die round. The duo has set the stage on fire with their electrifying performance on popular Hindi song 'Ghoomar'.
On the other hand, in the same round, Dilraj and Theertha competed with each other, singing the popular Carnatic song Alaipayuthe. Dilraj topped the performance and grabbed 5 points for him.In the Do or Die round, the contestants can be seen challenging each other. After the performance, the one who manages to win the maximum vote percentage wins and gets 5 points. However, the one who loses in the round will have 0 on their scorecard.Star Singer is one of the popular music reality shows in Malayalam. The show currently has 10 contestants from different walks of life competing for the grand prize of Rs 50 lakhs. Recently, contestants Pavithra and Gowtham got evicted from the show.
