TMZ reports Stefon Diggs’ alleged male assault accuser, Christopher Griffith, and the NFL free agent exchanged more than 100 pages of text messages and other communications with one another. As stated in the court documents, the other modes of communication were Instagram and iMessage.Backstory: Diggs claimed Griffith had failed to produce Instagram messages. Griffith, in turn, claimed that Diggs himself had those messages.Diggs claimed that he blocked Griffith on Instagram, and the messages exchanged were not visible. So, Diggs asked the judge to order Griffith to hand over the exchanged messages.

Stefon Diggs is an NFL free agent wide receiver. He previously played for the New England Patriots.

Christopher Blake Griffith is a stylist and social media influencer. Stefon Diggs filed a defamation lawsuit in Oct. 2025 against Christopher Griffith because Griffith claimed Diggs made unwanted s*xual advances in 2023. According to FindLaw’s Legal Writer Kit Yona, Griffith fired back with a counterclaim in Nov. 2025. The counterclaim accused Diggs of s*xual battery and of masterminding the violent attacks against Griffith made by his brother Darez Diggs after the alleged incident.

The NFL wide receiver claimed at the time that Griffith concocted the entire episode to boost his social media presence.

Two stories allegedly happened between Stefon Diggs and Christopher Griffith

Griffith and Diggs attended a charity basketball game in Washington, D.C. in May 2023. Other influencers went clubbing after the game and later headed to Diggs’ home in Rockville, Maryland. Two stories came forth after this. Diggs’ story: Diggs went to his bedroom after asking Griffith to leave.Griffith’s story: Griffith claimed he was s*xually assaulted by Diggs in the NFL star’s Porsche. Diggs repeatedly offered him candy during the evening, which Griffith alleged the wide receiver had laced with drugs. After he finally took a piece of it, Griffith soon began to feel debilitated because of the drug’s effect. Meanwhile, Diggs engaged in s*xual advances in the driveway of his house. When they entered the house, Griffith ran to the bathroom and locked himself inside for 45 minutes.

He was trying to shake off the doping. Once he came out, Griffith alleged that the people working for Diggs forced him to by heart [learn and repeat] a false account of the night’s events. Then they beat him, robbed him, stripped him, forced him into a car, and dropped him off at an airport. A week later, Griffith was assaulted by a group of men, which included Darez Diggs, Stefon Diggs’ brother, in an elevator of his Los Angeles home. Griffith insisted that Diggs sent his brother to kill him to keep Diggs’ s*xual assault quiet and his “gay/bis*xual secrets from being exposed.” Darez Diggs pleaded no contest to felony grand theft of a person. He received two years’ probation and community service.

Stefon Diggs admits to being acquainted with Christopher Griffith

Diggs told a federal court that he and Griffith “were acquaintances.” On June 3 order, the judge directed Diggs to provide detailed answers about his interactions with Griffith in May 2023 and who was present at his Rockville, Maryland home the night of the incident. Diggs was given 14 days from June 3 to comply or face sanctions. Come July, Diggs alleges he has no messages exchanged with Griffith because he blocked Griffith on Instagram. Griffith claims he has exchanged more than 100 pages of text messages and other communications, including Instagram and iMessage, with Diggs.
