Stephen Curry received a touching Father's Day tribute from his wife Ayesha on Sunday, with the Warriors star's family taking to social media to celebrate his 17th season in Golden State and his role as a father of four. Ayesha posted the message on Instagram, marking another year of Curry balancing an All-Star caliber NBA career with raising four kids at home. The tribute comes during an offseason already filled with major headlines for the two-time MVP, making the personal moment a welcome change of pace for fans who have followed Curry's business and basketball news for weeks."Happy Fathers Day to the most incredible human. Our 4 babies are so blessed to have you to guide and nurture them. We are grateful for you everyday. We love you! @stephencurry30," Ayesha wrote.
Curry just wrapped up a season in which he averaged 26.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.1 steals across 43 games, shooting 46.8 percent from the field and 39.3 percent from three.
Those numbers came despite Curry turning 38 in March, a reminder that age has done little to slow down one of the greatest shooters in NBA history. He and Ayesha share four children, daughters Riley and Ryan and sons Canon and Caius, and the family has built a public reputation around showing that side of Curry's life as openly as his career on the court.
Fans react to Ayesha Curry's tribute to Stephen Curry
The comment section filled up quickly with support from friends and followers.
One fan wrote, "He is the GOAT for sure! Happy Father's Day to one of the best humans on Earth." Another added, "Happy Father's Day to the 🐐!! God bless y'all!" Others kept it simple but heartfelt, with comments like "soooo sweet 😭😭😭" and "Our Father Steph! 👏🙌❤️🔥" showing up throughout the thread. A few playful jabs made the rounds too, including "Look at Curry man, so inspirational" and "A Goat with a Goat 😂❤️," a nod to both Curry's status in the sport and his role at home.
What is Stephen Curry doing this offseason?
Off the court, Curry has spent the summer reshaping his business future. He signed a 10-year endorsement deal with Chinese sportswear company Li-Ning worth more than $400 million, ending a search for a new shoe partner that began after his split from Under Armour in November. The agreement expands Curry Brand into basketball products, athleisure and golf gear, and gives Curry the ability to sign other athletes under his own label.
He turned down at least one larger offer to sign with Li-Ning, citing comfort with the brand's shoes worn by Warriors teammate Jimmy Butler and NBA legend Dwyane Wade. The deal has not come without scrutiny. Li-Ning has faced past accusations tied to forced labor practices, and Republican Rep. Chris Smith has said he plans to ask the Department of Homeland Security to review Li-Ning imports. How that conversation evolves over the coming weeks could shape the next chapter of Curry's business empire just as much as anything he does on the basketball court next season.
