Strong politics, journalism are essential for a healthy democracy, says Speaker

Speaker U.T. Khader on Sunday said that journalism must remain committed to truth and social responsibility calling upon media professionals to play a constructive role in nation-building.

Addressing the valedictory function of the 40th State Conference of the Karnataka Working Journalists Association organised by the district unit at the Zira Convention Hall in Bidar, Mr. Khader said that the pen of a journalist should “always stand by truth” and inspire society.
