A 20-year-old student, Saurabh Kumar, tragically died by suicide in Saharsa district on Friday night after a three-year battle with liver disease. His family discovered him hanging in his room the following morning. Doctors at a private clinic declared him brought dead. Police have been informed and an FSL team will investigate the scene.
Patna: A 20-year-old student, Saurabh Kumar, son of Mukesh Bhagat, a resident of Bharatiya Nagar under Sadar police station area, died by suicide on Friday night in Saharsa district.Saurabh battled liver disease for the past three years. He went to his room after dinner around 9.10 pm on Friday.
The next morning, when he did not respond, family members looked through the window and found him hanging from a bedsheet.They broke open the door, brought the body down, and rushed him to a nearby private clinic, where doctors declared him brought dead. Saharsa Sadar police were informed only on Saturday evening. SHO Subodh Kumar said a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team will examine the death spot and take necessary action in the matter.
