The Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS) has announced that the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’ will be displayed at all Ganesh puja pandals across the twin cities. Grand arrangements are being made for the 46th Ganesh festival and immersion from August 27 to September 6 in coordination with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority and the police

About 160 Ganesh Action Teams (GATs) will be set up and coordinated within a 303-km radius, involving 18 government departments. The final day of immersions will take place at Hussain Sagar and other designated water bodies.

In a press release, BGUS president G. Raghava Reddy and other office-bearers urged pandal organisers to use locally made products during the festivities and to host programmes that highlight India’s cultural richness.

The organisation said it will provide each pandal with guidelines and literature. With free electricity being supplied, it also advised organisers to follow proper safety standards in their arrangements.

A handbook, poster, and special song for the festival were released, and further details are available on the BGUS website (www.bhagyanagarganesh.com).
