Supplyco to roll out Easter-Vishu fairs from April 1; special kits and cashback coupons announced

Supplyco will organise Statewide Easter-Vishu fairs across its retail network from April 1 to 14 in a bid to ensure their availability of essential commodities at subsidised rates.

All Supplyco outlets, except Maveli Stores, will function as fair venues during the period. The initiative is part of the State government’s market intervention strategy aimed at curbing price volatility and improving access to essential goods during the festive season.

As part of the Vishu celebrations, Supplyco has introduced a ‘Vishu kaineettam’ benefit scheme and a specially curated ‘Vishukkani kit’ comprising 16 essential items. The kit, with a market value of ₹1,250, will be made available to consumers at a subsidised price of ₹1,001.

The Vishukkani kit includes grocery items such as sugar, green gram, cowpea, black chickpea, jaggery powder, Sabari payasam mix (semiya/palada), payasam ingredients, Milma ghee, Sabari coconut oil, Gold tea powder, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, salt, puttu or appam powder, chicken masala and garam masala.

Supplyco has also announced a consumer incentive scheme linked to non-subsidised purchases. Customers who buy non-subsidised goods worth ₹1,000 or more from Supplyco outlets, excluding medical stores, petrol pumps and LPG outlets, will receive a ₹101 coupon as ‘Vishu kaineettam’.

The coupon can be redeemed between April 16 and May 30 on subsequent purchases of non-subsidised goods worth ₹1,000 or above from any Supplyco outlet.
