Surat: The Surat International Textile Expo 2026’ (SITEX 2026) organised by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) and Southern Gujarat Chamber Trade and Industries Development Centre concluded successfully at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sarsana.
The three-day expo, held from February 21 to 23, has set new benchmarks in the textile machinery and technology sector. With over 26,000 buyers and visitors, the exhibitors are set to generate an investment of Rs. 100 crore in the next three to four months. Orders worth over Rs 1500 crore are expected.
A total of more than 26000 visitors visited the exhibition during the three days, the detailed report of which is as follows:

Giving information about the success of this exhibition, SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi, said that the response received from the exhibitors is very encouraging and CTEX 2026 has truly proven to be a ‘super hit’.
Madrasi further added that all the exhibitors participating in the exhibition gave the best presentation of their state-of-the-art machineries to the buyers who came from all over the country. The ‘one to one’ meetings between exhibitors and genuine buyers have resulted in a large number of new business inquiries along with on-spot orders.
Key Machineries showcased at the exhibition
The biggest highlight of the expo was that the world’s first ‘Four-sheet High Speed Rapier Jacquard Machine’ was launched at CTEX.
• High Speed Airjet Machine: Live demonstration of modern airjet technology to increase production capacity.
• New Position Printer Machinery: Latest solutions for precision in textile printing.
• Position Embroidery Machinery: Advanced embroidery machines for value addition.

The second day of CTEX Expo witnessed impressive business deals. Impressed by the cutting-edge technology showcased at the exhibition, some leading buyers placed on-spot orders for state-of-the-art machinery worth crores with the exhibitors.
Buyers flock from over 40 cities across the country
CTEX-2026 attracted not only local but also national attention. The exhibition attracted visitors associated with the textile industry from all corners of the country, mainly from the following cities:
• Gujarat: Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Bhuj, Amreli, Patan, Siddhpur, Surendranagar, Virpur and Abrama.
• Maharashtra: Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Solapur, Malegaon and Echalkaranji.
• North India: New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Ambala, Varanasi, Etawah, Pratapgarh and Badrinathpuri.
• Rajasthan: Bhilwara, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Dungarpur.
• South India: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur and Salem (Silchur).
