New Delhi: Recently, Microsoft has launched its latest Surface Laptop and Surface Pro, both to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 chipset. Surface Pro 13-inch is also available in Platinum, Black and Dune variants and Microsoft claimed it offers the best of both worlds of the Surface tablet and full Windows experience.
Its price is $1,499 (approximately Rs 1,41,485) and it runs on Snapdragon X2 Plus, 10 Core or the Snapdragon X2 Elite 12 core processor. It comes with up to 120Hz refresh rate touchscreen OLED display.
It will be paired with up to 32GB of onboard storage, up to 64GB of RAM, a Wi-Fi 7 chipset, and will have a 15.5-hour battery life supporting local video playback. The new Surface Laptop comes in two sizes – 13.8-inch (which costs $1599, or about Rs. 150,924) and 15 (at $1699 or about Rs. 160,362). It can last up to 20 hours with the former and 19 hours with the latter size. Both models feature a color-accurate LCD screen.
These can be set up to use the same SoCs as the Surface Pro. They are also the same as far as RAM is concerned, and begin at 256GB on the 13.8-inch and 512GB on the 15-inch displays. A 65W power supply is used for the bigger laptop while the smaller receives a 39W power supply.
