T.N. govt. renames Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department as Social Justice Department

The Tamil Nadu government has changed the nomenclature of the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department to the Social Justice Department and amended the relevant provisions of the Tamil Nadu Government Business Rules, 1978.

A Government Order to this effect was issued by the Human Resources Management Department on Monday. This move follows the Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay-led government’s decision to rename the Ministry of Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare as the Ministry of Social Justice.
