T.N. Institute of Archaeology and Museology invites applications for PG diploma courses

The Tamil Nadu Institute of Archaeology and Museology has invited applications for postgraduate diploma courses (both one year and two years) for the academic year 2026-27.

Interested candidates may download the application from the website: www.tnarch.gov.in, write to the institute at [email protected], or collect it in person from the Department of Archaeology.

Filled applications, with copies of educational certificates and community certificates, should be sent to The Commissioner (FAC), Department of Archaeology, Tamil Valarchi Valaagam, Tamizh Salai, Egmore, Chennai 600008 (Phone: 044-28190023). The deadline for submission of filled applications is 5 p.m. on July 8.

The institute offers three two-year diploma courses in both English and Tamil, and a one-year course in Tamil. Selected students will get a monthly stipend of ₹8,000 throughout the duration of the course.
