The Tamil Nadu Hotels Association on Tuesday said that restaurants had increased food prices only by 5% to 10% due to an increase in commercial LPG cylinder prices. Quality and quantity of food had not changed.
Addressing presspersons, Association President M. Venkadasubbu said that food was available at all price ranges and restaurants had also adjusted their menus according to popularity and fuel required to cook. He also said that many restaurants, both large and small, had shifted to alternate fuels for cooking.
