Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara has been winning hearts and breaking records since its release in the theatres. Alongside the compelling storyline of the film, its music album has also gained wide praise from the audiences, especially the title track. Composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami, the Saiyaara title track gained significant praise and wide acclaim from the fans.

Tanishk Bagchi Reacts To Saiyaara Mashup

Given the song’s popularity, renowned DJ Rahill Mehta made an attempt to create a mashup with the song and turn it into a wedding anthem. Taking to Instagram, Rahill posted a video of his remixes, which featured the Saiyaara title track and Ranjhaan from the movie Shershaah. Rahill’s unique take gained significant recognition from Tanishk Bagchi himself, as the music producer took to the comment section to laud his efforts. Taking to the comments, Tanishk Bagchi posted a clap sign emoji, to which Rahill was seen replying back with three heart emojis.

The mashup video started with a quote that read, “Never imagined Saiyaara to be a bridal song…until I made this," transitioning into a mashup of Saiyaara’s reprise female version and Raanjhaan. The video further grabbed attention as it was beautifully synced with clips from various wedding scenes, including Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s marriage The reel surpassed more than 3.4 lakh views and 1.5 lakh likes within just two days.

Tanishk Bagchi’s Rise To Fame

The Kolkata-born music producer Tanishk Bagchi started working as a music producer and arranged music for TV shows like Thapki…Pyar Ki before composing for films. During his initial days, Tanishk worked alongside Adiya Dev and Vayu Srivastava. With Vayu Srivastava, Tanishk made his debut in Bollywood with the song Banno for Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Later, Tanishk debuted as a solo composer with the song Samandar in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.

Since then Tanishk has been composing multiple chart-topping tracks, including Bolna, The Humma Song, Badri Ki Dulhania, Cheez Badi, Baarish, Hawa Hawai 2.0, Har Funn Maula, and Gazab Ka Hai Din, among others. His latest composition, the Saiyaara title track, surpassed 19 lakh likes on YouTube, and the female version sung by Shreya Ghoshal reached over 1.3 lakh likes on the platform.

Saiyaara Plot

Within weeks of releasing, Saiyaara has become one of the best films of Mohit Suri’s career. The movie follows the love story of an aspiring singer, Krish Kapoor, and a songwriter, Vaani Batra. Saiyaara delves into the complexities of their relationship and highlights their romance, struggle and suffering. Saiyaara features debutant Ahaan Panday alongside co-star Aneet Padda in the lead roles.
