The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) has stated that counselling for the general category candidates for the current academic year will be held online while candidates under special category and the government school (7.5 per cent reservation) category will have to appear in person. This is for admission to undergraduate programme in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) and B.Tech programmes in Food Technology, Poultry Technology, and Dairy Technology.
A press release from TANUVAS stated that special category candidates (sports quota, children of ex-servicemen, and differently abled) will have to report to the Convention Centre of TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony campus at 9.30 a.m. on July 22. Similarly, candidates under government school quota (both academic and vocational) will have to report at the same venue at 9.30 a.m. on July 23.
For general category candidates, online registration for campus preference for BVSc and AH (both academic and vocational streams) and course preference for B.Tech programmes will begin at 11 a.m. on July 21 and close at 11 a.m. on July 24.
