TDP slams YSRCP, calls its politics ‘dangerous extremism’

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and Housing and Information Minister Kolusu Partha Sarathy on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), alleging that its political conduct was “more dangerous than terrorism” and posed a serious threat to the State’s democratic fabric.

Addressing a press conference at the TDP office, he criticised former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of prioritising power over values. He also took exception to remarks by some party leaders expressing extreme loyalty, and questioned whether such language was in keeping with democratic principles.
