Telangana CM Accuses BJP Of Shielding BRS Leaders, Demands Action In Kaleshwaram, Formula E Cases

He said the Centre’s inaction for six months revealed a “fevicol bond” and a secret deal between the BJP and BRS to protect each other and weaken Congress.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy accused the BJP of taking “protection money" from the BRS and demanded the immediate arrest of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and former minister T. Harish Rao in the Kaleshwaram project scam, as well as BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao in the Formula E race case, alleging that the BJP deliberately shielded BRS leaders from action.

He said that despite the Telangana Assembly passing a resolution seeking a probe by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into Kaleshwaram and repeated requests for investigation in the Formula E case, then ask for the vote in Municipal Elections.

He said that the Centre has taken no action even after six months, exposing what he described as a “fevicol bond" and a dark deal between the BJP and BRS to weaken the Congress and protect each other politically.

CM Reddy also said BJP chief Nitin Nabin delivered “nothing for Telangana", sarcastically remarking that the state received only “gadidha guddu" (a donkey’s egg).

Meanwhile, BRS leader and former IPS Officer RS Praveen Kumar has written a letter to Harvard University, demanding that the world-renowned institution immediately withdraw the certificate awarded to CM Revanth Reddy after he attended an executive leadership programme at the Harvard Kennedy School.

He alleged that Revanth Reddy is facing 89 criminal cases, was caught red-handed by the ACB in the cash-for-vote case, spent nearly 50 days in jail, and is now, as Chief Minister, allegedly involved in multiple scams while pursuing a vendetta against the people of Telangana.

RS Praveen Kumar stated that a political leader who repeatedly uses abusive and objectionable language against opponents is unfit for the 21st century, remarking that such leaders may not have existed even in the Stone Age.

He questioned what message Harvard University is sending by awarding a certificate to a leader with such a track record.

The letter follows Revanth Reddy’s participation in the “Leadership in the 21st Century: Chaos, Conflict, and Courage" executive education programme at Harvard Kennedy School, held from January 25 to 30. Government sources said the programme featured leadership analysis, case studies, and group work, with participants from more than 20 countries attending sessions at the Cambridge, Massachusetts campus.
