Telangana DGP Shivadhar Reddy praises women’s safety initiatives and emphasises road safety awareness in Karimnagar

To increase the representation of women in the State police force in tune with the changing times, the police department has provided 33% reservation to women in the civil wing and 10% in the armed reserve wing of the State police force after the formation of Telangana, said Telangana DGP B. Shivadhar Reddy.

He was addressing a meeting of women police personnel at the Karimnagar Police Commissionerate on Friday evening.
