Telangana government partners with foundations to improve school infrastructure through CSR initiatives

The State government on Saturday signed agreements with the Raheja Group, Ramky Foundation, and Yashoda Foundation to support the development of government schools under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

The agreements were signed in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Secretary (Education) Yogita Rana, and representatives from the groups.

Under the initiative, Ramky Foundation will contribute ₹19.66 crore, covering 40% of the cost for constructing a new integrated campus at Jawahar Nagar in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, for classes from pre-primary to Intermediate. It will also provide ₹10.4 crore towards upgrading ZPHS Thukkuguda in Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy district.

The Raheja Group will fund ₹50.50 crore for educational infrastructure in Kondapur, Ranga Reddy district. Yashoda Foundation will spend ₹12.20 crore on facilities for pre-primary, 6th, and 7th classes at MPPS Subhash Nagar in Uppal.

Raheja Group president Neel C. Raheja; Ramky Foundation managing trustee Alla Dakshayani; Yashoda Group Director Gorukanti Devender Rao handed over the agreement documents to Mr. Reddy.
