Telangana high court grants relief to Teenmar Mallanna

HYDERABAD: The Telangana high court on Tuesday granted exemption from appearance before lower courts to MLC Chintapandu Naveen Kumar alias Teenmar Mallanna for eight weeks in over 100 criminal cases registered against him across the state.Mallanna approached the court alleging his cases were not transferred to the special court for trial of cases against MPs and MLAs. He also sought to quash the cases against him.Mallanna's counsel said the petitioner was an accused in 120 cases, and it was impossible for him to appear before lower courts across the state.
