Municipal Administration and Urban Development Secretary, and Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, T.K. Sreedevi on Friday launched ‘Bill One’, a new service that enables citizens to pay multiple municipal dues — including property tax, water charges and trade licence fees — in a single transaction through a unified platform.

A key feature of the initiative is the generation of a consolidated demand notice covering all municipal services linked to a Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Even owners of multiple properties will receive a single demand notice, reducing the need for municipal bodies to issue multiple notices or make repeated visits. The service also offers greater flexibility to taxpayers by allowing payments to be made in parts or through instalments, making it easier to clear dues on time.

Bill One is available through the handheld devices (HHDs) used by municipal ward officers and bill collectors. Citizens can also access the service through the official municipal portal, https://emunicipal.telangana.gov.in/, enabling them to make payments anytime and from anywhere. The initiative is expected to simplify tax payments, improve convenience for citizens and enhance the efficiency of municipal revenue collection across urban local bodies in Telangana, said a press release.
