A shocking crime has come to light in Hanamkonda district, where a man allegedly murdered his wife and two daughters over suspicions that his wife might give birth to another girl child.
The accused, identified as Azaruddin, was living on the outskirts of Punnela village in Ainavolu mandal, where he operated a swimming pool. He resided there with his wife Farhat (26) and their two daughters, Umera (8) and Ayesha (6).

After the birth of two daughters, Farhat became pregnant twice in the past. Each time, Azaruddin reportedly forced her to undergo abortions, suspecting that the unborn child would also be a girl.
Four years later, when Farhat became pregnant again, he allegedly pressured her to terminate the pregnancy for the same reason. When she refused, he is accused of taking his wife and children to the swimming pool he managed, pushing them into the water and killing them. He later allegedly tried to pass off the incident as an accident.
However, Farhat’s father raised suspicions against Azaruddin. Acting on this, the police took him into custody for questioning, during which he reportedly confessed to committing the crime.
