The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that the Railway Board has approved further extension of the “temporary” shift of 32 trains from Secunderabad railway stations to other terminals including Hyderabad, Cherlapalli, Kacheguda, Umdanagar and Malakajgiri stations in view of the ongoing redevelopment works there on Wednesday.
As many as 22 trains will now start and terminate at Cherlapalli like the daily Secunderabad- Manuguru (12747), Manuguru-Secunderabad (12746), Secunderabad-Repalle (17645), Repalle-Secunderabad (17646), weekly Secunderabad-Silchar (12513), Silchar-Secunderabad (12514), bi-weekly Secundeabad-Darbhanga (17007), Darbhanga-Secunderabad (17008).
Weekly Raxual-Hyderabad (07052), Hyderabad-Raxaul (07051), Secunderabad-Rameswaram (07695), Rameswaram-Secunderabad (07696), Secunderabad-Danapur (07647), Danapur-Secunderabad (07648), bi-weekly Secunderabad-Santragachi (07221), Santragachi-Secunderabad (07222).
Weekly Secunderabad-Muzaffarpur (05294), Muzaffarpur-Secunderabad (05293), Secunderabad-Agartala (07030), Agartala-Secunderabad (07029), Triweekly Secunderabad-Yesvantpur (12735), Yesvantpur-Secunderabad (12736).
Daily Secunderabad-Pune (12026) and Pune-Secunderabad (12025) will start and terminate at Hyderabad. Daily Vijayawada-Secunderabad (12713), Vijayawada-Secunderabad (12714) will start and terminate at Kacheguda. Weekly Secunderabad-Porbander (20967) and Porbander-Secunderabad (20968) will start and terminate at Umdanagar. Secunderabad-Siddipet and Siddipet-Secunderabad trains on six days a week will start and terminate at Malakjgiri
Special trains towards Mysuru from Secunderabad and vice versa, and Cherlapalli to Kakinada Town and vice versa, during this month, have also been announced, said a press release.
