Ten workers injured as part of under-construction ROB collapses at Auto Nagar in Visakhapatnam

Ten workers were severely injured when a portion of the under-construction Rail Over Bridge (ROB) collapsed at Vadlapudi, under the Gajuwaka police station limits, in the city on Sunday. They were rushed to the nearby hospitals. Doctors said that their condition was stable.

The bridge, under the control of the State government, is aimed at connecting Auto Nagar and Duvvada. Work on it has picked up pace of late as it is a long-pending demand of the residents of Auto Nagar, Vadlapudi, Duvvada and Kurmannapalem.
