Thailand travel alert: Indian Embassy issues fresh advisory for travellers, lists key requirements

The latest travel advisory issued by the Embassy of India in Bangkok states that all Indians intending to visit Thailand must make sure that all their travel requirements and documents are ready before their travel begins.As per the travel advisory, some of the key things required for travelling include a valid passport. It has been recommended for all Indians travelling to Thailand to ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months beyond their date of arrival in Thailand. There may be many international rules and regulations regarding the minimum validity of a passport in many countries and failure to meet the requirement will lead to problems in boarding or entering the country.Apart from the passport validity, another thing that all tourists must have with them is the proof of their travel plans.
